The trouble that has been brewing for the past 50 years

I just got hold of Selig Harrison's report, "The State of the Union: Pakistan". This report offers some unique insights covering Pakistan history on issues on which the local media has been silent. For example, the local media has entirley overlooked the recent surge in Baluchistan's struggle for sovereignity. It is difficult to ascertain their real intentions. Ethics aside, how could a malitia take on a military-industrial complex? They can't expect to win. So what are they doing? This is my guess: They want the maximimum concessions they can get from the federal government in plundering the rich resouces of coal and gas, and then they would use this leverage to provide access to the private corporations and interests who have been funnelling them large amounts of money to fuel insurgency in Baluchistan.
